McCullin's little known colour work has been reproduced alongside pages from the magazines and an assemblage of McCullin's personal material and documents. These include his cameras, boots and helmet, numerous passports and photographs of him at work on the battlefield, together with illuminating personal correspondence.
This is a mesmerising and moving record of conflict and battle, and an unmissable read.
